12TH day at TnB!

We got an opportunity to meet En.Nasir and he explained a little bit about his department.Today he asked us to follow en.Mat to some p/e or pencawang elektrik to do some maintanence job. We need to make sure the p/e always in good condition atleast once in 3 months!

We go to some pencawang elektrik around Kota Bharu and learned new things from En.Mat.

In the p/e, there are 3 common things; switch gear,transformers,and feeders.There are many types of switch gears,transformers and feeders.

Let's find out the steps we got the electricity...

p/e a.k.a pencawang elektrik

1) from the switch gear,11kv

2)go to the transformer-11kv to 415v

3)the bussbar connect the incoming (at the left) to the feeders (A,B,C,D)

4)this is the feeders, 415v

5) and from the feeders, we can now distribute to the users...:)

En.Nasir also mention to us about they usually do their work at midnight "shutdown" because it will disturb our customers.we must know how to read the waves because it will show where the fault comes from..
